Innova is an MPV designed by Toyota, stretching less than 4600 mm (181.1 in), meeting the regulation European system of size classification and is being produced in Indonesia under Toyota Astra Motor’s supervision since 2003. On the other hand the Toyota Kijang, replaced by Innova, is produced and marketed in Indonesia. Innova groups with the Hilux Vigo, pickup and the Fortuner SUV to form Toyota’s IMV program. It is officially named as Toyota Innova Kijang in Indonesia and Innova for other countries simply.

Innova is powered by ether a 2.0 liter 136 hp 1TR-FE VVT-I, 2.7 liter 2TR-FE VVT-I gasoline or a 2.5 liter 102 hp 2KD-FTV D4-D common rail, variable geometry, turbocharger, diesel engine. The new Innova engine is different from the older Kijang gasoline engine.
